Off-Hook Indicating Relay Unit – Analog (PSTN) Interface

Description

The Off-Hook Indicator is designed to connect anywhere on a conventional telephone line, analog extension or any of the above line sources. It can be connected in any series or parallel position on the line that it is monitoring.

In the event that a telephone line (or simulated telephone line) goes ‘off hook’, the Off-Hook Indicator will close an internal relay 5 seconds later and leave it closed until the line goes back ‘on hook’. This allows the Off-Hook Indicator to be used as a line in use indicator.
